People and Entities
  1. Administrador: a supervisor of one or more cohorts.
  2. Growth Angel: a workshop facilitator, mentor, or guest speaker (Warriors*).
  3. Participant:
    1. Owner/CEO: lead participant of an admitted company.
    2. Team members: senior managers or supervisors from admitted company. 
  4. Sponsor: an organization that provides financial support to run a program.
  5. Partner: an organization that offers opportunities and/or, benefits in kind to member companies of a cohort.
  6. Warriors: Battle-tested business leaders and entrepreneurs who have successfully grown businesses while overcomingo multiple tough challenges.
Activities & Reports
  1. Pre-workshops: brief workshops imparted prior to the beginning of a new cohort to reduce variance in the level of knowledge about accounting, finance or marketing.
  2. Workshops: one-day workshops focused on how to grow Cash (three workshops), Productivity (three workshops) and Revenue (four workshops).
  3. Drills: meetings where a small group of CEOs (3 or 4) take turns to discuss their responses to assignments and receive feedback. These meetings also serve as preparation for next workshop.
  4. Growth Gists: written storytelling (280 characters maximum with concrete numbers) of growth events that took place since the last workshop.
  5. Exchanges: sessions where participants offer or request contacts for specific resources (idea, someone, people, entity, opportunity, knowledge, information, data) that can trigger growth (in Cash, Productivity, or Revenue). For example, a participant may be looking for additional warehouse space, access to an expert / talent or access to a key manager in an entity and another participant may have contacts, ideas or information on where to find them. It is not a buying and selling activity.
  6. Family Meetings: brief gatherings of owners/CEOs to talk about challenges and frustrations with the goal of receiving peer encouragement and potential antidotes, thereby lifting individual and collective spirit while strengthening group cohesion.
  7. Panel: presentation and Q&A with Warriors.
  8. Mentoring: private session between an owner/CEO and one or more Growth Angels.
  9. Benefits: opportunities offered to participating companies by partners of Growmotor.
  10. KPIs: confidential dashboard of outcomes to assess program effectiveness.
